Well, fight fans. That one was a doozy!
On October 14th, Joe Doerksen (Canadian and all around good guy) and Brett Cooper (noted knockout artist) squared off in The Score Fighting Series. The event took place in Hamilton, Ontario – so the hometown crowd was definitely behind Doerkson.
Unfortunately for Joe, Cooper scored the knockout in the first round. While that’s not out of the ordinary, it definitely caught the attention of all of us here at the Mogo office. And you’ll see why below.
The scene of the knockout came right beside Mogo.ca’s advertisement on the fighting canvas. I guess that means we knocked out our competition, too? Take that, DeWalt!
