Onto the list!

BillShrink.com

We all know that gas prices are flying through the roof, and this helpful site is great for when you’re on the road and don’t know the area. BillShrink tells you the cheapest gas stations available that are within a certain area.

Whether you’re filling up on Day 3 of a week-long road trip, or on the commute, BillShrink is a good bet to crowd-source the best gas prices.

(This site is also great for TV, Wireless, Credit Cards and more – Check it out!)

Gogobot.com

Tired of the same Trip Advisor and Google recommended travel tips? Check out Gogobot. It looks into social media to find the most current recommendations for travel hotspots and destinations. Looking for something close by? Login to Gogobot and search for something in your area and price range. It’s cheaper than a guide book – and will be much more current.

CheckPoints.com

Now, I’ve yet to use CheckPoints, but it sounds like a cool service. It’s a mobile app that lets you earn points and prizes for ‘checking in’ at certain check points. You basically let the system know where you’re visiting, and the products you’ve picked up. Each time you check in, scan a product or earn points, you’re eligible to win bonus prizes and rewards.

Take these tips on the road and add a little online excitement to your summer travels!
