Do more than you did last week. And do it today

Summer can work against our bodies if we let it. With a few fried appetizers and calorie-laden drinks on the patio, an endless parade of summer BBQs, and the lure of laying out in the heat…it can be tough to fit in exercise that isn’t directly related to getting from the guacamole bowl to the cooler.

To get healthy this summer, just do more exercise this week than you did last. And start today. “I’m starting tomorrow”  are famous last words, so be different and make positive choices in this moment. Any progress is progress, so even if that means one hike, or swapping dinner plans for a volleyball game, you are getting things in motion.
