Do more than you did last week. And do it today
Summer can work against our bodies if we let it. With a few fried appetizers and calorie-laden drinks on the patio, an endless parade of summer BBQs, and the lure of laying out in the heat…it can be tough to fit in exercise that isn’t directly related to getting from the guacamole bowl to the cooler.
To get healthy this summer, just do more exercise this week than you did last. And start today. “I’m starting tomorrow” are famous last words, so be different and make positive choices in this moment. Any progress is progress, so even if that means one hike, or swapping dinner plans for a volleyball game, you are getting things in motion.
Try a new activity outside
Doing something new is as good for your brain as it is for your waistline. As temperatures rise your exercise options expand. Try something you’ve been curious about, whether it’s running, tennis or cycling, and feel great about it!
Working out and saving money are similar in a lot of ways

- They top the list of New Year’s Resolutions every year
- Working on them can be BORING and seem unattainable at times
Just like the Mogo Prepaid Visa Card is a great way to control your spending, you need to give yourself the best options for living a healthier, happier life. We also want to let you in on another secret about money and working out: the more you work both “muscles” the stronger you get, and the easier it is.
